I know it's not winter yet, but the blues were bringing me down early. I don't need any help getting any lower since I received the official notice that my contract has been terminated. There's no going back, not that I expected a miracle cure. *rolls eyes*

So, a new header and warmer colors to help cheer me up a little.

And yes, I did get out of my chair to vote and now I'm dancing in it. Yea!

In between writing new chapters in my WIPs (Really, I am! Honest!), I've been playing in Photoshop again. Big surprise - not.

I've created a banner and icon for miche_connor who requested something with CLex.

Miche, please let me know if this will do, or if you'd like something different. There are two versions of the banner because LJ will sometimes cut off the top. I suggest trying both to see which one works better.

ETA: LJ obviously changed something in their code - now it chops off the bottom, which I just discovered with my new banner. *sigh*

hils wished for a Crusade banner with Kal-El and Lex. About the same time she asked for a Crusade coda where Kal_El meets Lex on the plane. So...the coda's started and I have three banners to choose from.

hils, if you like one of these - say so and it's yours with whatever words you'd like added. I'll pick from the remaining two for a cover for Intentions.

Once again, I felt like playing in Photoshop in between working on ATAPB2. I made some happier icons than last week for myself and some happier (mostly) banners that are up for grabs. If you'd like one of them, just let me know what you'd like it to say and credit me.

( Behind Cut Be More Banners )

First I played with Irfanview, but layers and filters were limited. Then I tried GIMP, but it was frustrating me with a non-intuitive interface. My daughter finally found our CD for PhotoShop and so I've been playing in that today. Below are 7 banners I constructed today and I'm looking for opinions on on the results. It is about as complex with the number of images as I'm thinking I'll try and it took me about 5 hours of teaching myself PhotoShop and manipulating the images to produce these, so I have an idea of how much time I'm wasting.

I really need to know if I have a serious lack of talent and if I should just back away from the program and stop fooling myself. Really, don't worry about hurting my feelings - either I have some clue and might improve or...it's not worth it. *rolls eyes*
